Biochar Cost-Benefit Analysis Tool

Instructions

Progress through the tabs in the sidebar to assess the potential financial benefits of applying biochar. Each tab requires you to estimate expenses and benefits associated with biochar. Modify values to test the effect of changing assumptions.

This tool assumes that biochar is added once with benefits extending up to five years.

This tool was adapted from a biochar calculator developed by the Australian Dept of Agriculture and Food.
